Construction St. Nicolaashof started
Thursday, October 27, 2011 the construction of St. Zorgcentrum Nicolaashof Volendam started with festivities and a dignified celebration.
While the Chapel bells and the bells of St Vincent's Church were tolling the start was marked by burying a beautiful trunk with memorable wishes and valuable articles of Volendam in the foundation of the first building section. The commissioning of this building with 38 care apartments will finish within one year. Over one year later, the entire St. Nicolaashof, with another 60 care apartments, will have been replaced at the current location.
We wish the client, 'De Zorgcirkel' Foundation and all its stakeholders, good luck. We wish the contractor, 'KBK Bouw' from Volendam with all of its subcontractors and suppliers, good luck with the performance of the work. And we wish the residents, staff, neighbours and the municipality of Edam-Volendam much delight with the new St. Nicolaashof!
