Hotel Király Street
The site is located in the VI district of Budapest, in the Király Street, which is right next to the VII district. Király Street is parallel with the Andrássy Boulevard, which is one of the main shopping / entertainment areas in Budapest.
The site is close to many tourist / historical / cultural / leisure points like the Opera, the Basilica, the Liszt Ferenc Square, etc. The 3-level-high U-shaped classicist building was built in 1846. It’s a protected monument and has to be renovated, as it is in bad condition. The concept idea keeps the protected monument part at the front, and adds 2 new wings and a covered atrium in between them.
